Yan Wang is the data steward of the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at the Delft University of Technology (TUD). She advises researchers and the faculty on research data management (RDM) needs and practices on daily basis, and is involved in some national and international RDM initiatives on data sharing policy, data steward competences and researcher engagement. She has a research background in information management, and has worked on humanitarian simulation exercises and international project coordination at TUD, and on telecom service ecosystem at Tilburg University in The Netherlands.
